Meet the Team

Over the course of his career, Juan has led the technological and engineering efforts in successful start-ups on three continents. His technical solutions have benefitted numerous communities, ranging from the hidden peoples of the Amazon rainforest to the urbanites of densely populated cities such as New York, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo. In 2018, Juan founded Voladi Systems in Zurich, a company dedicated to enabling high quality online information experiences. He studied Creative Computing at the University of London and cares deeply about human-centred innovation, technology, and design.

Santiago has a keen interest in high-performing web applications and frameworks and has been a full-stack developer since 2016. With a degree in music specialising in guitar, he turned his mellifluous attention and creativity online in 2011. Santiago focuses on key aspects such as design, programming, systems administration, and DevOps, delivering excellent results for millions of browsers across the globe.

Lua comes from a multicultural background, having studied, worked, and lived in many countries throughout her life. This global perspective provides her with a unique understanding of the individual beauties of different cultures and this complements her strong skills in creating and delivering amazing localized customer experiences and client-focused services.

Szabolcs enjoys languages, for humans and machines. He particularly loves the Python programming language for its elegant syntax and strong ecosystem. With a background in electrical and systems engineering, Szabolcs’ strong technical experience has helped him develop a good understanding of the trade-offs in technology towards always finding the best way to build the future. Szabolcs also enjoys reading, gaming, and watching films.

Coming from a background in psychology, Giovanna turned to professional visual design in 2016. With her discerning aesthetic eye, she has created and launched brands and corporate identities to great success. Giovanna is passionate about the creative design process and is always refining, developing, and deepening her connection with her audience.

Dr Isaac Schroeder obtained his PhD in Physics from the University of Bern. His prior experience includes research within the field of cometary sciences, wherein he analysed mass spectrometric data from the Rosetta spacecraft in collaboration with the European Space Agency. Turning his attention to the nearer mass of the planet Earth in 2020, Dr Schroeder carefully sifts through the fine details many of us would miss, discovering the hidden gems that make all the difference in optimising and enriching our lives.
